About the brand

Carriall is India’s 1st Smart Luggage Brand that designs thoughtful products to make traveling seamless with a wide range of products. Starting from smart backpacks, the brand has expanded its product range to luggage bags, travel accessories and a lot more.

The challenge

The brand was only selling its products through its website and other e-commerce websites like Amazon, Myntra. This, coupled with a highly competitive luggage market made it challenging to convince people to buy luggage that was 40% -60% more expensive than the other products available in the market

Our Approach

The founder, during one of our interactions mentioned ‘Carriall as a brand always strives to be about more than just selling suitcases’. This instantly rang a bell and we developed our thoughts around this very statement.

We instantly realised the need for building a strong digital presence that communicates to people authentically. Our content strategy revolved around enhancing the travel experiences of people, starting with the perfect backpack.

The core brand messaging was crafted around positioning the brand as much more than a suitcase selling brand. It was centred on making the brand as a destination to help people gain valuable insights on travel, to help them travel smarter and safer with Cariall.

With a wide variety of content including destination facts to city recommendations to quick travel hacks to interactive content, we positioned ourselves as a brand essential for anyone interested in travel.

To further establish the brand’s credibility, we activated partnerships with celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, Disha Patani, Kiara Advani and other prominent content creators and influencers, with an aim to signal that Carriall isn’t a typical luggage brand.

With a strong focus on visuals to showcase product strengths and USPs, combined with relatable travel scenarios and interactive video content, the brand was able to create engagement opportunities within the travel community that helped us experience increased brand awareness, recall value and consideration for a range of travel products.

Alongside impressive design and interesting brand partnerships, Carriall’s commitment to bringing travel to life through interesting content cemented its image as a ‘Niche’ travel brand that offered thoughtful luggage.
